Grin Cupola is open to proposals.
All proposals will be reviewed and considered by the Grin Cupola Advisory Group.
Grin Cupola is an art gallery and performance space north of Grinnell, Iowa, typically exhibiting one or two exhibitions per year. The organization is seeking proposals. On-site exhibitions take place in a renovated 1930s barn with 1,600 square feet of assorted exhibition space. Additional spaces and resourses are listed below.
Grin Cupola is open during scheduled events & by appointment only.
Spaces Available for Rent:
• Tofu Factory Building: Red metal barn. Access limited to front reception room and two restrooms.
• Corn Crib: White metal barn. Main art gallery including: first, second, & third floors (Main Grin Cupola building).
• New Blue Barn Dance Hall: Blue Metal barn. Access limited to central dance hall.
• The Dock: Interactive art installation or an out of place fishing dock. Site of outdoor stage area.
• Event Parking Areas.
Additional recourses: (available upon request and with staff supervision).
Full Woodshop, Welding Shop, Ceramics Area, Art Studio, surplus building materials, and outdoor installation space.
Site usage fees are negotiable based on needs.
Fees cover site access and, in many cases, additional services such as event catering, marketing, and curatorial or installation assistance.
