Joe Tuggle Lacina is an American-born, Grinnell, Iowa-based multimedia artist, curator, and educator with a presence in public spaces and galleries. Joe holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Dimensional Practice from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art - MICA. His work blends new media, sculpture, and painting, articulating the intricate relationship between the digital and physical materialities within the contemporary epoch. His works have been showcased at notable venues like the ICA Philadelphia, Fleisher/Ollman Gallery in Philly, LVL3 Gallery in Chicago, and Olson Larsen Gallery in Des Moines, Iowa.
